My Story

Hi! My name is Colette this project is for my Girl Scout Silver award. I decided to do my project on Celiac because I have Celiac. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease in 5th grade. Up until 5th grade, I lived with constant stomach aches. I also had anxiety because I didn't know what was wrong. These symptoms would often prevent me from doing fun and exciting things.

In 5th grade, I went to a gastrologist. After running blood test they found out I had Celiac. I then had to get an endoscopy to make sure I have celiac. It was confirmed I had celiac. I went on a gluten-free diet on June 1st, 2017.
