Breakthroughs in Celiac disease

Updated: Jun 24, 2018

There is a vaccine that claims it can help people who suffer with celiac disease

It is just an injection similar to what diabetics use insulin injections. This can help people who suffer from celiac disease live a normal life.

According to Daily Mail " the promise of living a normal life without having to follow such a strict diet is actually really exciting and liberating for people"

Daily mail says the vaccine is so developed it can be marketed in about 2 years

How the vaccine works

Experts say it is "a combination of proteins that works by attaching itself to the immune system cells in coeliac which overreacts when it comes in contact with gluten." This vaccine will quiet them down and over time researchers and doctors hope it will fully shut them down so people with celiac disease can live a normal life.
